Friends of the Madrid Home News
The Friends of the Madrid Home Communities are holding their annual membership drive. As an active member, you will join with others who have an express interest in supporting the mission of Madrid Home Communities, which is one of Christ-centered service to older adults.
In 2014 funds raised by FMHC will be used to improve the appearance and update lounge areas at the Madrid Home. Interesting research shows that in addition to simply enjoying the appearance of their surroundings, the physical environment in retirement communities has a profound impact on the quality of life of residents. Having comfortable, well it areas with furniture that is homey and easy to get in and out of will provide enjoyment, encourage family members to visit more often, and even help residents to be more independent.
100% of the money raised through the sale of memberships and events will go towards this project. For more information, please call Friends of the Madrid Home Coordinator, Kacie Purl/Angela Tharp, at 515-795-3007.
The cost of an annual Friends membership is a donation of $5 or more.
Please stop in the church office, if you would like to become a Friends member. Thank you!
